Konsortium Bumi Group celebrated its 18th anniversary with a special thanksgiving dinner held at the Imperial Hotel, Grand Ballroom 2 (Level 5) in Kuching on the evening of 7 July 2024. The event brought together distinguished guests, business partners, and employees to commemorate the company’s journey and achievements.

Among the notable attendees were the Sarawak Deputy Minister of Public Health, Housing, and Local Government, Datuk Dr. Penguang Manggil, former Sarawak Deputy Chief Minister, Datuk Patinggi Tan Sri Alfred Jabu Numpang, and former Sarawak State Secretary, Datuk Amar Jaul Samion.

During the event, Datuk Dr. Penguang Manggil praised Konsortium Bumi Group for its strong performance and contributions to the construction industry over the years. He highlighted the company’s success in earning more than 20 awards at both state and national levels, reflecting its consistent commitment to quality and excellence.

The anniversary celebration also served as a platform to recognize and appreciate the dedication of the company’s staff. Special acknowledgment was given to long-serving employees who have contributed to the company’s growth since its early days.

Dato Janang shared that Konsortium Bumi Group began with just six team members and has since expanded significantly, now employing over 200 people. This milestone reflects the company’s steady growth and the collective effort of its workforce.

The evening concluded as a meaningful celebration of achievements, partnerships, and the people who continue to drive the company forward.
